Howdy!
I’m Brooke Baylis. The quick and dirty of it is that I love making things that you can hold in your hands- be that packaging or products.
The longer explanation starts with:
As a designer my biggest love is working with people to solve problems. My personal outlook is there’s always something to learn from existing design (even “bad” design- there has to be a reason it made it out into the world).
Most of my experience is packaging destined for mass production within an in-house team, and freelance work to create production artwork.
I’m really into retro tech, and the tactility of it (CRTs still scare me though).
Let’s Chat!
Feel free to drop a line! I’d love to talk about your project, the work I’ve shown on this website, or why I find CRT televisions kind of terrifying. My full résumé is available above.
